Hello, deep pocketed cruisers, and welcome to Belize! Today the beans check out a place named with 100% truth in advertising in its name: The Belize Tourism Village! The Village is actually a 650-foot dock-side strip mall where cruise ship transfer boats pull up and let you out to experience what life is like in Belize, as seen through the eyes of over 60 duty-free gift shops and restaurants!

Since the beans really enjoy picking up trinkets from their travels (you should see their mini-snow globe collection!), they had a fantastic time wandering the stores looking at all the amazing things you can buy with the word "Belize" stenciled on it. They then joined their Ambassador friends for a cold one at El Papagayo Too, which was a nice break after picking up a supply of "My Beans Went to Belize, and all I Got Was This Stupid T-shirt" shirts.

The beans had a great time in their little slice of Belize, and hope to be able to see the rest of the country someday. But for now? They'll just sit back and enjoy their new seashell ashtrays.
