Good morning, exclusive shoppers and wealthy socialites, and welcome to the city that money built - Beverly Hills! Yes, today the beans put on their best Prada power suit and grab their Gucci handbag (genuine, of course...) and take a jewel-encrusted stroll through one of the best known havens for the rich and famous. About 37,000 well-to-do and otherwise financially beautiful people live in Beverly Hills, which is actually completely surrounded by the city of Los Angeles. Beverly Hills was the first planned community in the U.S., and today remains an exclusive enclave for those who don't need to ask "how much is it?"

So when in Rome (or in the Hills, as it were), the beans were proud to show off their new and improved Beverly Hills can to all of the money-dripping locals who passed by. Naturally, their cosmetically altered faces attempted to smile to the best of their abilities. Why, you ask? Well, although they had seen just about everything that money could buy, they'd never seen a platinum can of vegetables before.

Of course, Beverly Hills has been featured in just about every form of entertainement known to man: Cops, Ninjas, 90210, Hillbillies, and even a 48-hour liquid diet have all made good use of the Beverly Hills moniker. And since it's so closely tied with entertainment, Beverly Hills is also home to the Museum of Television and Radio, where if you really want to, you can go watch old 90210 reruns...while in Beverly Hills! The beans thought this would just be too surreal, and instead decided to go over to the Beverly Hilton and hang by the pool - maybe Merv will drop by and say hi. If not, there ought to be a starlet or two around, wouldn't you think?

Shopping is a big deal here on Rodeo Drive, with high-end stores such as Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus, and Cartier all having locations here. Sak's Fifth Avenue also has a rather famous store here; the beans were tempted to hook up with their old pal Winona and head over to Sak's to pick up a few things, but that would be a no-no, wouldn't it?

Anyway, the beans had a great time in Beverly Hills, and hope to come back again soon. Next time they'll bring 3 sacks of money - those parking meter rates are outrageous!!!
