Top of the morning, cave dwellers and spelunkers, and welcome to Grottes de St-Marcel d'Ardèche! Today the beans have wandered underground to check out this cool natural wonder. The grottos were discovered by a hunter way back in 1838, and today are a major tourist attraction for the local area. The highlight of the tour are the 100 or so rimstone pools, formed by water flowing down a slope. (Think short, wide waterfalls.) People (and canned vegetables, for that matter) come from all over to check them out in person.

While the beans did have a good time in the caves, they were much happier back out in the daylight, where they could actually see those things that go bump in the dark up close.
