A flume ride of gratitude to BATW Ambassador Janette for taking the beans river rafting through the Grand Canyon!

Hello, whitewater rafters and green-faced land lovers, and welcome to the amazing Colorado River! A long time ago in a writeup far, far away, the beans visited the Grand Canyon, and during that sojourn they swore that one day they'd indeed go whitewater rafting down the Colorado. And what do you know - dreams sometimes do come true! (Now, can we do something about making that "beans co-starring in Halle Berry's next movie" dream come true, too?)

Anyway, here the beans are, safe and sound on the boat as they should be, because a frijole tossed from the craft into the icy waters would just be pathetic. Janette and the nice people from Arizona River Runners took good care of the beans, and made sure that their little helmet and life vest were securely attached, and that they had some extra Dramamine inside their can, "just in case". You'll be pleased to know however that the beans had no trouble with "mal de river"; their little frijole tummies may not be cast iron, but apparently pressed metal works just as well.

So the beans had a swell time floating the Colorado, and thank everyone once again for hauling them along for the ride. In fact, next time the frijoles promise to try the trip with their eyes open.
