Vroooms of thanks to BATW Ambassadors Dawnyel & Jeremy Kleinschmidt and Isaiah Nelson for taking the beans to Daytona Beach!

Hiya, bike fans, and welcome to sunny Daytona Beach, Florida, where the beans recently dropped in on their annual Bike Week! Since there's very little in this world that the beans enjoy more than a ride on a Harley (Hawgs & beans!), the beans were really excited to get into the action here on the beach.

Daytona Bike Week was held from February 28 - March 9 this year, but Bike Week has been a tradition since January 24, 1937 - the inaugural running of the Daytona 200.

Here, the beans hang out with their pal Isaiah, who may still be too young to handle one of those big bikes by himself, but that's okay -- if he can turn the throttle, the beans will steer.

Next up, the beans stopped by to meet a wooden Indian out front of a local store, who was obviously searching for something. We're not too sure what, but the beans did overhear him say something about looking for a construction worker, a sailor, and a nearby YMCA.

"They could tell right away that I'm bad to the bone! Bu-bu-bu-bu-bad!"

Yes, the beans felt genuinely "bad to the can" when they got to hang out with Newman from New York, who was kind enough to take the beans out for a spin on his motorcycle -- a ride that can only be described as freaking cool.

As you can probably guess, the beans are now hopelessly addicted to bikes like this. In fact, they came back from their jaunt around Daytona with their new best friend Newman and immediately bought a complete biker wardrobe to celebrate. And while it did seem a little strange to see a 15 ounce can wearing a leather vest, the other bikers did compliment the frijoles on their choice of killer shades.

Finally, since they were in the neighborhood, the beans stopped by nearby Ormond Beach where they got to (literally) hang out with BATW Ambassador Jeremy on the sandy shore. Now, as you can almost see, they were buried up to their...um...well... in a very unique, quite possibly anatomically correct sand sculpture.

Now, since this is a FAMILY site, the beans have to admit that they are appropriately hidden behind the black bar in the photo. (They may be canned, but they still have a code of standards & practices...) Have you ever seen a can of black beans blush? You have now.

Anyway, the beans were glad to hang out on the beach, even if it was a little embarrassing. But in the end it was okay - and there was no tan line to speak of, so we'll call it a good day.
