Ahoy, world cruisers and those who wouldn't dream of going on a vacation that doesn't involve a certain 5-foot tall mouse (present company included), and welcome on board the Disney Magic cruise ship once again! Earlier this year BATW Ambassadors the Lilly Family took the frijoles on the Magic, and they had such a good time doing it, they were back on board a week later. But this time it wasn't your ordinary 7 day jaunt around the Caribbean - nope, this time the beans had the deluxe treatment of a 15 night cruise through the Panama Canal, with stops in the Caribbean, Mexico, and finally arriving at that ultimate in luxurious vacation destinations: Long Beach, California! Hey, we shouldn't complain - Disneyland is just a few miles from debarkation.

Anyway, the beans thought you'd like to see a postcard-perfect shot of them posing with the amazing Disney Magic, taken from Disney's private island Castaway Cay. Now, admit it - don't you wish you were here about now?

Now, one of the highlights of any ocean cruise is the opportunity to meet the captain. Unless of course your captain is named "Ahab", "Hook", or "Bligh", it's generally considered to be a pleasant experience. And when on a Disney cruise ship, who else would you expect to find behind the wheel than Mickey Mouse? So here the beans hang with the multi-talented mouse, who is doing a wonderful job of avoiding those treacherous Caribbean icebergs. Way to go, Mickey! Second star to the right and straight on til dawn!

But it can't be "all work and no bean play" for our frijoles - no way, Jose. So here the beans get ready to jump into the Mickey-shaped pool, which conveniently has two hot tubs serving as his ears. Under normal circumstances you probably wouldn't want to soak in anything that comes out of a rodent's ears, but in this case, I'd have to assume it's perfectly safe.

Anyway, the beans had a swell time swimming in Mickey's pool, and their Donald Duck arm floaties were the perfect accompaniment. If only they had a Goofy hat to keep the sun out of their eyes...

And after all that exercise, there's only one thing left to do: sneak back to our cabin and take a siesta! Oh, sure there are zillions of other fun things to do on board a Disney cruise - buffets, bingo, movies, games, and lots and lots of character experiences, but sometimes the frijoles just need to unwind and rest up before diving back into the action. Trust me; you don't want to have to deal with a cranky can of frijoles that hasn't caught up on its beauty sleep.

And if you'd prefer to relax a different way, you can always head to Disney's Vista Spa and Salon, where a hot stone massage or something called an "Ionithermie Cellulite Reduction" is available if you're willing to put on a robe and go for it. And if you're on board with a really close friend (they'd have to be really close), you can always try the "Exotic Rasul" treatment. As Disney describes it: "Experience this pure retreat for two. Pamper each other in the privacy of a secluded chamber and steam room. Indulge yourselves with body mud, aromatherapy massage oils, a host of fabulous facial care products and more." Wow. Sounds like fun, doesn't it? The next time the beans cruise, they're definitely going to invite that cute can of lima beans they met in Cancun to come along...

Anyway, the beans had another wonderful time on the Disney Magic, and thank the entire Disney Cast & Crew for their kindness and hospitality. As you'd well expect, our now seasoned cruiser beans are hoping to come back soon for the "hat trick". If one cruise is never enough, and two just barely holds you over, then #3 will have to be just as magical, wouldn't you think?
