Hey there, potato puritans and world wide travelers, and welcome today to Hinckley, Ohio, the home port for none other than Mr. Eglar! Now, who exactly is Mr. Eglar, you may ask? Well, Mr. Eglar is tuber/world traveler with a Web site documenting his adventures, just like the beans. (Same concept, different vegetable.) While he hasn't yet been to quite as many places as our beloved frijoles yet, he's definitely off to a good start.

Now, according to good ol' Eglar's official biography,"Mr. Eglars favorite things are being grumpy (despite the smile he constantly has on his face), going to Potato's Rights Activists meetings, going camping, and having some GREAT adventures." Other than the cynical attitude, who can argue with that?

So to help cheer Mr. Eglar up a little bit, the beans sat him down in front of the computer and showed them some of their favorite sites, and then followed up with an hour or two of really off-color jokes. Believe me; if our frijoles can't get a chuckle out of a potato after a half dozen of their best "These two rutabagas were walking down the street..." jokes, nobody can.

Anyway, the beans had a good time meeting their new friend in person, and we wish him safe travels, good weather, and a French-fry-free experience as he makes his way around the world.
