Welcome to Hollywood Boulevard, in Beautiful Downtown...well, you know... Movie Stars, Autograph Seekers, and a billion and one oddballs - yep, that's Hollywood for you. Still, it's a site that shouldn't be missed. Why, you may be discovered by a talent agent, you may be asked to be an extra in a movie, but I guarantee you that someone will ask you for money.

Here the beans stop by the El Capitan, where the world premiere of A Bugs Life was about to take place. There was a man walking around out front dressed like Charlie Chaplin (actually, there were about four of them in all, and one woman...), but I couldn't get any of them to pose with the beans without a little "donation" to their cause.

Do you think that these celebrities ever imagined their footprints would one day be immortalized next to a can of beans? Hopefully Gene liked beans - he was a cowboy, after all...

It was a slow enough day inside, so I decided to risk the occassional security camera, and sneak in for a couple of bean photos. Here they're enjoying the company of a life-like Pamela Anderson Lee.

People have said that I'm going to burn one day for this shot, but come on -- isn't it even remotely possible that the Last Supper might have included beans? Right?

We took the beans to see the "Waterworld" stunt show at Universal Studios, and amazingly they came out of it without making fun of the movie.
