Yes, once again we must thank Bill Mezek for taking the beans out and about!
| Attention, shoppers - be sure to stop by aisle 3 for some BIG savings! Greetings from Kingsport, Tennessee, which you'll find wedged between the Appalachian and Great Smoky Mountains. With a population of close to half a million folks, Kingsport has experienced a gigantic growth spurt over the past few years. And speaking of growing, the beans have apparently stumbled upon the ultimate grocery cart, complete with a super-charged V-8 engine and racing tires (What - no fuzzy dice?). Now, we have no idea how many miles to the gallon something like this gets, but it can hold 1,422,037 cans of black beans - that much we're sure of. (And no, you can't ask how we came up with that number - it's top secret.) The beans tried to talk the owners of this mammoth cart into a joyride, but alas, there wasn't time. Oh, well - at least the nice people at Food City promised that the beans could borrow it for their upcoming appearance on "Supermarket Sweep." |
