Greetings, seafarers and vacationers everywhere, and welcome once again on board the beautiful Holland America ship Oosterdam! This is actually the second time onboard this magnificent cruise ship for the frijoles, who definitely have their sea legs by now. So last time, the floating frijoles cruised through the Caribbean and visited the HAL private island Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, but today they got to visit the ship on the West Coast, as it was making a special stop-off in San Fran as it makes its way up the West coast during a repositioning cruise. So now the beans can officially say they've cruised three of the seven seas. A couple more and they'll be eligible for that anchor tattoo they've always wanted...

But instead of sitting down in the boiler room telling off color jokes with the other salty sailors, the beans decided that they'd rather head up here, to the Lido deck, where the tropical beverages are flowing and the chairs are shaped like the catch of the day. According to BATW Ambassador Scott, "The beans misbehaved a bit. Five minutes after we got onboard they bellied up to the Lido Bar next to the swimming pool. They were pretty marinated before I was able to drag them away." And you know what? I don't doubt it for a minute. Trust me - a can of beans, a ship full of party-happy beauties, and an onboard charge account are a dangerous combination. Anyway, I suppose it can go without saying that the beans were glad to be back on this cool ship, and are still holding out hope that one day the captain will invite them to sit at his table for dinner. Just as long as their not dinner -- just dinner guests -- everything should work out fine. Okay?
