Beans Around The World

These are from June 14, 1997 - our wedding day. I owe my lovely bride 1001 "thank yous" for the rest of my life for putting up with the beans on her day. I lucked out and married a wonderful woman who tolerates my eccentricities.

Yes, the beans were a part of our wedding. Again, a big special Thank You to Mary for going along with this. She is a very good sport, and I'm lucky to have married someone who thought this joke was actually funny. We did however spend a lot of time explaining why there was a can of beans on the table next to the wedding cake.

If you notice the other can with the beans, that was a gift from Gary and Paula Franke. It was the Bride of Beans, dressed in white, of course. The bride has been permanently retired, and holds down the home fort while her husband tramps across the country.
