New York City, NY

These are some of the earliest bean photos ever. Ken, Darcy, John, and the NOC gang from Seiko took these pictures shortly after the beans came back from China in 1993. Thanks, guys!

Welcome to New York, the city that never sleeps! The beans had a great time in the Big Apple - seeing the sites, shopping on 5th Avenue, and cussing out cab drivers. Fuggettaboutit...

While in NYC, the beans decided to partake in the favorite local sporting activity, tagging. Here they pose with their spray-painted artwork, which translates to "gnomes bite." Normally, we'd be ashamed of their behavior, but hey - when in Rome...

Nothing says "God Bless America" more than a can of beans and the Statue of Liberty. The freedom to haul a can of black beans around with you - isn't that what America is really all about??? By a show of hands, Lady Liberty agrees.
