It's supper time, butter fingers and lemon breath, and you've come to the right place! Welcome to Woolwich, Maine, where you can have a little taste of the good (seafood) life each and every day. Woolwich is about twelve miles from the Atlantic Ocean, and packs a local population of about 2,800 people...and this big guy.

Yep, today the beans had the pleasure of stopping here, just north of Bath, Maine, and meeting none other than the Taste of Maine Restaurant's official mascot, Mainer C. Lobster. Mainer proudly waves to passersby, and warmly welcomes you to come inside and dine of some of his brethren. (Hey, what does he care? He's not on the menu...) The Taste of Maine serves up plenty of the good stuff - lobster rolls, baked lobster, steamed lobster, stuffed lobster, lobster pie, and even Lobster Newburg! So if you're hungry and in the mood to polish off one of Mainer's buddies, by all means, this is the place.

The frijoles had a great time (as usual) in Woolwich, and thank Mainer and the crew of Taste of Maine for all the scrumptious samples. Now, can anyone explain why black beans aren't served with the seafood?
