Quadruple thanks go our to BATW Ambassadors Sue Finstick and Dale Smith for taking the beans to four states at once!

Greetings, state hoppers, and welcome to the legendary Four Corners Monument! Located on land belonging to the Navajo Nation, the beans are officially laying on the spot where four states come together in one spot. As you can see, the beans are currently straddling Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado, all without having to stretch their little tin arms.

The beans thought it was pretty cool to be able to stand in four states at once; now if they could just figure out to be in 5 countries at the same time, well that too would be impressive.

This ain't no party,
This ain't no disco,
This ain't no foolin' around...

And apparently, this ain't Highway 89, either.

Yes, the beans had no trouble at all finding where four states meet, but it was not their day at tracking down this mysterious highway. Now, you'd think they'd at least be kind enough to tell you which highway it actually is, but noooo....

Anyway, the beans had a swell time at four corners, and did eventually find their way home, no thanks to this road marker. It's a good thing the beans earned a gold badge in how to use a compass, huh?

(And for those of you in the chat rooms who have been endlessly complaining about the geographic location of this picture, two things: One, I never said it was actually at the monument - it was on the road to it, that's all. Two -- I see and hear everything... So if you have questions, drop me a note next time, huh?)
